Public Transport

From Fukuoka, take the Nishitetsu train (Omuta Line) from Tenjin Station to Asakuragaido Station. Transfer to bus 40 and ride to the Hisamitsu bus stop. From there, it's a 10-minute walk to the Kusaba River. The train ticket costs between 700-1000 JPY one-way. The bus fare is approximately 400 JPY.
Car

From Fukuoka, rent a car and drive to Chikuzen. Take the highway towards Dazaifu and then take the exit towards Chikuzen. The drive is slightly less than an hour. Parking is available at the Mekubaaru parking lot (200 spaces) or the Midori to Sports no Fureai Hiroba parking lot (20 spaces). A rental car costs approximately 4000 JPY per day.
