Getting there

Public Transport

From Hakata Station, take the No. 88 bus directly to Hakata Port International Terminal. The bus ride takes approximately 20 minutes. Alternatively, from Tenjin, take bus No. 90 to Hakata Futo. A single bus fare costs around ¥210. Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) buses also run from Hakata Station and Tenjin every 15 minutes.

Taxi

A taxi from Hakata Station or Tenjin to Hakata Port International Terminal takes about 10-15 minutes. Expect to pay around ¥2,000-¥2,500 depending on the terminal and traffic conditions. Taxis are readily available outside major transportation hubs.

Walking

From Gofukumachi Station, the ferry terminal is approximately a 25-minute walk. Note that this might take longer if you have luggage. From Nakasu-Kawabata Station, it's about a 20-minute walk from exit No. 7.
