Getting There

Public Transport
From Tokyo Station, take the JR Yamanote Line or Keihin-Tohoku Line to Hamamatsucho Station. From there, it's a 15-minute walk to Tokyo Tower. Alternatively, take the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line to Kasumigaseki Station, transfer to the Hibiya Line, and get off at Kamiyacho Station, followed by a 10-minute walk. A Tokyo Subway Pass can be used for the latter route. The train fare from Tokyo Station to Hamamatsucho is between ¥90 and ¥220. Subway fares range from ¥160-¥200.

Bus
Take the Tokyu Bus from Tokyo Station Marunouchi South Exit directly to Tokyo Tower. The bus ride takes approximately 20 minutes and costs ¥220. A free shuttle bus is also available from Tokyo Station Marunouchi Exit, stopping at WATERS Takeshiba and Hinode Pier before reaching Tokyo Tower. Note that only some of these buses continue to Tokyo Tower.

Taxis are readily available from anywhere in Tokyo. A taxi ride from Tokyo Station to Tokyo Tower typically takes only a few minutes, depending on traffic, and costs approximately ¥2,200 - ¥2,800.

If driving, parking is available adjacent to Tokyo Tower. The parking fee is ¥600 for the first hour and ¥300 for each additional 30 minutes. The parking lot is open from 9:00 to 23:00, with the latest entry at 22:30.
