    Car

    If you're driving, start from central Dewa City and take Route 13 heading north. Follow the signs for Obanazawa. After approximately 30 minutes, you'll reach Obanazawa City. Continue on Route 13, then take the exit for Ginzanshinhata. Follow the signs for Ginzan Onsen. The scenic drive will take you through beautiful mountainous regions. Once you arrive in Ginzanshinhata, look for parking areas near the entrance of the onsen.

    Public Transportation

    From Dewa Station, take the JR Yamagata Line train towards Yamagata Station. Get off at Obanazawa Station, which takes about 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Obanazawa Station, look for the bus terminal outside the station. Take the local bus heading towards Ginzan Onsen. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes and will drop you off right at the entrance of Ginzan Onsen. Make sure to check the bus schedule for return trips.
