The drive is approximately 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. When you arrive in Atami, follow the signs to Showacho and look for parking options nearby, as parking is limited. Be aware that parking fees may apply, typically ranging from 500 to 1000 yen per hour.

For public transportation, you can take the Hakone Tozan Railway train from Hakone-Yumoto Station to Odawara Station. The journey takes about 15 minutes. At Odawara Station, transfer to the JR Tōkaidō Line and board a train heading towards Atami. This leg of the journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Atami Station, exit the station and take a taxi to Kiunkaku, which is about a 5-minute drive away. Taxi fares from the station to Kiunkaku are usually around 1000-1500 yen.

Alternatively, you can take a bus from Hakone to Atami. Board a bus from the Hakone Bus Terminal heading towards Atami. The bus ride will take approximately 50 minutes to 1 hour, depending on traffic. Once you arrive at Atami, you can either walk to Kiunkaku, which is about a 20-minute walk, or take a taxi for a quicker option. Walking directions from the bus stop involve heading towards Showacho and following the signs to Kiunkaku.
