Car
From central Hakone, take Route 1 (Hakone-Yumoto to Odawara) and head towards Isehara. Follow the signs for Isehara and take Route 246. After approximately 30 minutes, exit at Oyama. Continue driving for about 10 minutes until you reach Oyama Afuri Shrine at 355 Oyama, Isehara. Note that parking is available near the shrine, but may incur a small fee.

Public Transportation
Take the Odakyu Line from Hakone Yumoto Station to Isehara Station (approximately 30 minutes). From Isehara Station, you can take a bus towards Oyama (bus number 2) which will take around 20 minutes. Get off at 'Afuri Jinja' bus stop, which is right next to Oyama Afuri Shrine. Ensure you have some cash for the bus fare.

For the more adventurous, consider hiking to Oyama Afuri Shrine. Start from the base of Mount Oyama, which can be reached via public transport from Hakone Yumoto to Isehara. There are well-marked trails taking approximately 1.5 to 2 hours to reach the shrine.
