Car
If you are driving, start from Hitachi City Center and head southeast on Route 6. Follow the signs for Tsukuba Express and take the expressway towards Tokyo. After approximately 1.5 hours, take Exit 16 towards Chuo City. Merge onto Route 1 and continue for about 5 kilometers. Look for signs for Nihonbashihamacho. Turn left at the traffic light onto Nihonbashihamacho, and you will find Arashio-beya Sumo Stable at 2 Chome-47-2 on your right.
Train
For those traveling by train, start at Hitachi Station. Take the Joban Line towards Ueno and change trains at Toride Station to the Tsukuba Express. Ride the Tsukuba Express to Akihabara Station. From Akihabara, transfer to the Hibiya Line and get off at Hibiya Station. Then, take the Toei Subway and transfer to the Chuo Line, getting off at Tokyo Station. From Tokyo Station, transfer to the Marunouchi Line and get off at Otemachi Station. Exit the station and walk to the nearby Nihonbashihamacho area; Arashio-beya Sumo Stable is located at 2 Chome-47-2.
Bus
If you prefer to travel by bus, start from Hitachi City Center Bus Terminal. Take the express bus bound for Tokyo Station. The journey will take approximately 2 hours. Once you arrive at Tokyo Station, head to the Marunouchi Line and take the train to Otemachi Station. Upon exiting the station, walk towards Nihonbashihamacho; the Arashio-beya Sumo Stable is located at 2 Chome-47-2, just a short walk from the station.
