To reach the Bank of Japan Currency Museum from Hitachi Station, take the JR Joban Line towards Ueno Station. This journey will take approximately 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Ueno Station, transfer to the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line and head towards Asakusa Station. After about 5 stops, get off at Nihonbashi Station. From Nihonbashi Station, take Exit B5 and walk approximately 10 minutes to reach the museum located at 1 Chome−3−1 Nihonbashihongokucho.

If you are driving to the Bank of Japan Currency Museum from Hitachi, take the Route 6 towards Tokyo. It will take around 1 hour and 30 minutes depending on traffic. Once you reach central Tokyo, follow signs for Chuo City. The museum is located at 〒103-0021 Tokyo, Chuo City, Nihonbashihongokucho, 1 Chome−3−1. There is limited street parking available, so consider using a nearby parking garage. Be prepared to pay for parking, which can cost around 500 to 1,500 yen per hour.
