Car
If you are driving from central Hitachi, take Route 6 heading south towards Mito. Continue on Route 6 for about 30 minutes until you reach the interchange for the Joban Expressway. Exit at the Nerima Interchange. Follow the signs for Nerima City and merge onto Route 254. Continue on Route 254 and then take a left onto Shimoshakujii 4 Chome. The Chihiro Art Museum Tokyo will be on your left at 4 Chome-7-2 Shimoshakujii.

From Hitachi Station, take the JR Joban Line to Ueno Station. At Ueno Station, transfer to the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line and head towards Shibuya. Get off at Omote-sando Station. From there, transfer to the Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line and head towards Yoyogi Uehara. Get off at Yoyogi Uehara Station. Exit the station and take a bus (Toei Bus no. 58) towards Shimoshakujii. Get off at the Shimoshakujii bus stop. The Chihiro Art Museum Tokyo is a short walk from the bus stop, located at 4 Chome-7-2 Shimoshakujii.
