Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Hitachi City. Take Route 6 (also known as the Joban Expressway) heading south towards Mito. Continue on Route 6 until you reach the junction with Route 50. Merge onto Route 50 and follow the signs toward Tokyo. Once you reach the Tokyo area, take the exit towards Sumida City. Look for signs directing you to Kamezawa, and use your GPS to navigate to 1 Chome-5-8 Kamezawa, where EDO-YU RYOGOKU is located. There is parking available nearby.
Public Transportation
To get to EDO-YU RYOGOKU using public transportation, start by taking the JR Joban Line from Hitachi Station to Ueno Station. At Ueno Station, transfer to the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line and travel to Asakusa Station. From Asakusa Station, transfer to the Toei Asakusa Line and take the train to Oshiage Station. At Oshiage Station, you will need to switch to the Toei Oedo Line and ride to Ryogoku Station. Once you arrive at Ryogoku Station, exit towards the East Exit and walk for about 10 minutes to reach 1 Chome-5-8 Kamezawa, where EDO-YU RYOGOKU is located.
