If you are traveling by car from Hitachi, take the Joban Expressway (E6) southbound towards Tokyo. The drive is approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes, depending on traffic. For those using public transportation, start by taking the JR Joban Line from Hitachi Station towards Ueno. After about 1 hour and 10 minutes, transfer at Ueno Station to the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line. Take the Ginza Line towards Asakusa and get off at Asakusa Station. From Asakusa, transfer to the Toei Subway Asakusa Line and head towards Nishi-Magome, getting off at Oshiage Station. From there, it’s a short walk to EDO-YU RYOGOKU at 1 Chome-5-8 Kamezawa. Be sure to check the train schedules for any changes and potential costs for the tickets.

Alternatively, you can take a highway bus from Hitachi to Tokyo Station. This ride usually takes around 2 hours to 2 hours and 30 minutes. Once at Tokyo Station, you can transfer to the JR Sobu Line and head towards Chiba. Get off at Ryogoku Station; EDO-YU RYOGOKU is about a 10-minute walk from there, located at 1 Chome-5-8 Kamezawa.
