Car
From central Hitachi, take Route 6 (also known as the Joban Expressway) heading northeast. Continue on Route 6 for approximately 30 kilometers until you see signs for Takahagi. Take the exit for Takahagi and follow the signs towards Nakadogawa. Once you reach Nakadogawa, look for Route 1954 and follow it to Hananuki Gorge. There is parking available near the entrance of the gorge, but be mindful of any parking fees that may apply.

Begin your journey at Hitachi Station. Take the JR Joban Line towards Takahagi Station, which is about a 20-minute ride.
