If you are driving, head towards Route 6 (Kantō Expressway) from central Hitachi. Follow the signs for Tokyo and merge onto the expressway. Continue on the expressway for approximately 2 hours until you reach Chuo City. Take the exit towards Harumi and follow the signs to Harumi Port Park. Note that parking is available near the park, but it may incur a fee of around ¥500 for a few hours.

From Hitachi Station, take the JR Joban Line towards Ueno. The ride takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Disembark at Tokyo Station. From Tokyo Station, transfer to the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line and take the train to Shinjuku Station. At Shinjuku Station, switch to the Toei Oedo Line and travel to Kachidoki Station. From Kachidoki Station, it is about a 15-minute walk to Harumi Port Park. The total cost for the train journey will be around ¥1,500.
