Car
If you are driving, start from the center of Hitachi City and navigate towards Route 6. Follow Route 6 south for approximately 30 kilometers. Once you reach the intersection near the Hitachi Seaside Park, continue straight onto Route 245. Follow the signs for Minato City, where Hinode Pier is located. Parking is available nearby, but be prepared for potential fees which can range from 500 to 1000 JPY per hour.

Public Transportation - Train
To reach Hinode Pier using public transportation, head to Hitachi Station. From there, take the JR Joban Line towards Ueno. Transfer at Toride Station and switch to the Tsukuba Express Line towards Tsukuba. Get off at Akihabara Station, then transfer to the Hibiya Line heading towards Nakameguro. Finally, get off at Kamiyacho Station. From Kamiyacho Station, it's about a 20-minute walk to Hinode Pier. Be sure to check train schedules in advance; fares will be approximately 2000 JPY one way.

Public Transportation - Bus
From Hitachi, you can also take a direct bus to Tokyo. Look for the Suijobus which operates between Hitachi and the Tokyo area. The bus departs from Hitachi Station and takes around 2 hours to reach the Tokyo area. Once you arrive, you can use local buses or the subway to reach Hinode Pier. The bus fare is usually around 2500 JPY one way. Check the Suijobus schedule for the most accurate timings.
