    If you are driving from central Hitachi, start by heading south on Route 6. Continue on Route 6 for approximately 45 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Route 51. Merge onto Route 51 and follow the signs for Tokyo. After about 25 kilometers, take the exit toward Chuo City. Continue straight onto Showa Dori Avenue until you see signs for Nihonbashimuromachi. Turn left onto Nihonbashimuromachi and look for the Mitsui Main Building on your left. The museum is located on the 7th floor.
