Car
If you are driving from central Hitachi, start by heading south on Route 6. Continue on Route 6 for approximately 45 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Route 51. Merge onto Route 51 and follow the signs for Tokyo. After about 25 kilometers, take the exit toward Chuo City. Continue straight onto Showa Dori Avenue until you see signs for Nihonbashimuromachi. Turn left onto Nihonbashimuromachi and look for the Mitsui Main Building on your left. The museum is located on the 7th floor.

To reach the Mitsui Memorial Museum by public transportation from Hitachi, start by taking the JR Joban Line from Hitachi Station to Ueno Station. The journey will take about 1 hour. Once you arrive at Ueno Station, transfer to the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line and travel towards Shibuya. Get off at Nihonbashi Station. From the station, take the A3 exit and walk straight for about 10 minutes, then turn right onto Nihonbashimuromachi. The Mitsui Main Building will be on your left, and the museum is located on the 7th floor.
