Car
If you are driving to Namiyoke Shrine from central Hitachi, start by heading south on Route 6. Continue on this road for approximately 70 kilometers, which will take around 1.5 hours. Follow the signs toward Tokyo and take the exit for Tsukiji. The shrine is located at 6 Chome-20-37 Tsukiji, Chuo City, Tokyo 104-0045. Parking is available nearby, but be aware that there may be parking fees that vary by day and time.

Public Transportation
To reach Namiyoke Shrine via public transportation, start at Hitachi Station. Take the JR Joban Line bound for Ueno. This train ride will take about 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at Ueno Station, transfer to the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line and take the train towards Nakameguro. Get off at Tsukiji Station. From Tsukiji Station, it is about a 10-minute walk to the shrine. Follow the signs to Tsukiji Outer Market, and then continue straight until you reach the shrine at 6 Chome-20-37 Tsukiji. Be sure to check train schedules in advance, as ticket prices will vary, but a one-way fare from Hitachi to Ueno is approximately 1,500 JPY.
