Seiko House Ginza Clock Tower: A Timeless Icon

The Seiko House Ginza Clock Tower is more than just a timepiece; it's a historical landmark that embodies Tokyo's spirit of innovation and craftsmanship. In 1966, the original weight-winding system was replaced with a Seiko quartz oscillation movement, which was later upgraded to an even higher-precision quartz movement in 1974. In 2004, a GPS system was added to ensure even more accurate timekeeping.Today, Seiko House Ginza houses the Wako department store from the basement to the 4th floor, offering luxury items such as watches and jewelry. The upper floors are dedicated to promoting the Seiko brand, with spaces like the Seiko House Hall and The Atelier Ginza. The rooftop Seiko Sky Garden provides a relaxing space with attractive plantings and a wooden deck.
