Car
From central Hitachi, get onto Route 6 heading southeast. Continue for approximately 25 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 4. Merge onto Route 4 towards Tokyo for about 55 kilometers. Follow the signs for Nakano City. Once in Nakano, look for signs directing you to Numabukuro. Turn onto 1 Chome-31-4 Numabukuro. The Numabukuro Hikawa Shrine will be on your left.

Public Transportation
Start at Hitachi Station and take the JR Joban Line towards Ueno. Get off at Shinjuku Station after about 50 minutes. Transfer to the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line and head towards Nakano-sakaue Station. At Nakano-sakaue, switch to the Tokyo Metro Toei Oedo Line and travel to Numabukuro Station. From the station, it’s about a 10-minute walk: exit the station, head north on the main road, and turn right onto 1 Chome-31-4 Numabukuro. The Numabukuro Hikawa Shrine will be on your left.
