If you're driving from central Hitachi, take Route 6 heading northeast towards Oarai. Continue on Route 6 for about 30 minutes until you reach the coastal area of Oarai. Look for signs directing you to Reflection Beach (地先 Onukicho, Oarai). There is parking available near the beach, which may incur a small fee (around ¥500).

From Hitachi Station, take the JR Joban Line to Oarai Station. The journey takes approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Oarai Station, exit the station and head to the bus stop located nearby. Take a local bus towards the coast (Bus number 6 is usually a good option) and get off at the Reflection Beach stop. The beach is a short walk from the bus stop.
