  • Public Transportation

    From Hitachi Station, take the JR Joban Line train towards Ueno. Travel for about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Get off at Shibuya Station. Once at Shibuya Station, transfer to the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line and travel to the next stop, which is Omotesando Station. At Omotesando Station, transfer to the Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line and travel towards Yoyogi-Uehara Station. Get off at Yoyogi-Uehara Station. From there, take a bus from the bus stop located outside the station, heading towards Setagaya. Get off at the Setagaya Local History Museum bus stop. The museum is a short walk from the bus stop.

    From Hitachi City, take Route 6 (Pacific Coast Highway) south towards Tokyo. Continue on Route 6 for approximately 90 kilometers. Merge onto the Shuto Expressway (Tokyo Metropolitan Expressway) and follow signs for Setagaya. Take the exit for Setagaya and follow the signs to Setagaya Local History Museum. The museum is located at 1 Chome-29-18 Setagaya, Setagaya City, Tokyo 154-0017. There is parking available near the museum.
