Car
If you are driving from central Hitachi, take Route 6 (also known as the Joban Expressway) southbound. Continue for about 30 kilometers until you reach the junction with the Joban Expressway. Merge onto the expressway toward Tokyo. Stay on the expressway for approximately 90 kilometers until you reach the exit for Tokyo. Once you exit, follow the signs for Chuo City and Nihonbashinakasu. You will arrive at 1-11 Nihonbashinakasu, Chuo City, Tokyo 103-0008, where the Sumida River Terrace is located. Parking may be available nearby.
Public Transportation
To reach Sumida River Terrace via public transportation from Hitachi Station, first take the JR Joban Line towards Ueno. Get off at Ueno Station (approximately 40 minutes). At Ueno Station, transfer to the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line towards Asakusa. Ride for 4 stops and get off at Nihonbashi Station. From Nihonbashi Station, take Exit C1 and head towards Nihonbashinakasu. Walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach 1-11 Nihonbashinakasu, Chuo City, Tokyo 103-0008. The Sumida River Terrace will be on your left.
