Car
If you're driving from the center of Hitachi, head southwest on Route 6 (National Route 6) towards Mito. Continue on Route 6 for about 30 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 50. Take the exit onto Route 50 towards Tokyo. Stay on Route 50, which will lead you into Tokyo. Once you reach the Minato City area, follow the signs for 'Takeshiba Ship Terminal' or 'Waterfront.' You should see signs directing you to the terminal. Look for parking options nearby.
Public Transportation
From Hitachi Station, take the JR Joban Line towards Ueno. After approximately 40 minutes, transfer at Ueno Station to the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line towards Shibuya. Travel for 5 stops and get off at Takaracho Station. From Takaracho Station, it's about a 10-minute walk to Takeshiba Ship Terminal. Exit the station and head southeast on Route 15 (Shinagawa Avenue) until you reach the terminal at 1 Chome-16-1 Kaigan.
