Getting There

  • Car

    From central Hitachi, get on National Route 6 (also known as the Joban Expressway) heading towards Tokyo. Continue on Route 6 for approximately 90 kilometers. Take the exit for Shiodome and follow signs to Shibakoen. Once in Shibakoen, navigate to 3 Chome-4 Shibakoen, Minato City, Tokyo 105-0011. Parking is available nearby, but be prepared for possible fees ranging from ¥300 to ¥600 per hour.

  • Train

    Start at Hitachi Station and take the JR Joban Line towards Ueno Station. This journey will take about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive at Ueno Station, transfer to the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line and head towards Shibuya. Get off at Shimbashi Station and transfer to the Toei Oedo Line, heading towards Roppongi. Get off at the Akabanebashi Station, which is the closest station to Ten Jizo. From there, it is a 10-minute walk to 3 Chome-4 Shibakoen. The total cost for the train journey is approximately ¥2,000.

  • Bus

    From Hitachi Station, find the bus terminal and take a highway bus towards Tokyo Station. The journey takes about 2 to 2.5 hours. Once you arrive at Tokyo Station, take the Marunouchi Line to Kasumigaseki, then transfer to the Hibiya Line towards Naka-Meguro. Get off at Kamiyacho Station, and it will be a 15-minute walk to Ten Jizo located at 3 Chome-4 Shibakoen. The bus fare is around ¥2,200.
