From Hitachi Station, take the JR Joban Line train towards Ueno (Tokyo). The journey takes approximately 2 hours. Once you arrive at Ueno Station, transfer to the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line and head towards Shibuya. Get off at the Akasaka-Mitsuke Station (3 stops). From there, you will need to transfer to the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line and take the train towards Shinjuku. Get off at the Kasumigaseki Station (2 stops). Finally, take a short walk for about 10 minutes to reach Zojo-ji located at 4 Chome-7-35 Shibakoen, Minato City, Tokyo 105-0011. Be sure to check train schedules as they may vary. The total cost for this journey is approximately ¥1,500.

If you are driving from Hitachi, take the Joban Expressway (E6) towards Tokyo. The journey will take around 1.5 hours, depending on traffic. Follow the signs for Tokyo and exit at the Shuto Expressway (C1) towards Shinjuku. Continue on the Shuto Expressway and take the exit for Shibaura. Zojo-ji is located at 4 Chome-7-35 Shibakoen, Minato City, Tokyo 105-0011. There is street parking available nearby, but it may incur a fee of around ¥300 per hour. Alternatively, you may find parking lots in the vicinity.
