If you are driving, start from Hitachi City and head south on Route 6 (Tōhoku Expressway) towards Tokyo. Follow the signs for the Expressway and continue for about 100 kilometers. Once you approach Minato City, take the exit for Roppongi and follow the signs towards Shibakoen. The Tomb of Tokugawa Iemochi is located at 4 Chome-7-35 Shibakoen, Minato City, Tokyo. There is limited parking available near the site, so be prepared to find street parking or a nearby parking garage.

Public Transportation
To reach the Tomb of Tokugawa Iemochi using public transportation, start by taking the JR Joban Line from Hitachi Station to Ueno Station. This journey takes about 1 hour and costs approximately 1,500 yen. From Ueno Station, transfer to the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line and ride to the Akasaka-mitsuke Station. Once there, transfer to the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line and travel to the Shinjuku Station. From Shinjuku, take the Toei Oedo Line to the Akabanebashi Station. Finally, it is a short 15-minute walk to the Tomb located at 4 Chome-7-35 Shibakoen, Minato City, Tokyo. Be prepared for the total trip to take around 2 to 2.5 hours.
