Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving, head towards the center of Hitachi and take Route 6 towards Mito. Once you get to Mito, follow the signs for the Joban Expressway. Merge onto the Joban Expressway and continue driving for about 60 kilometers. Take the exit for Tokyo and follow the signs for Chiyoda City. Look for Marunouchi and once you reach it, park in one of the public parking facilities nearby. The Tokyo City i is located in the KITTE building at B1F.

  • Train

    To reach Tokyo City i by train, start from Hitachi Station. Take the JR Joban Line towards Ueno Station. After approximately 1 hour, transfer at Ueno Station to the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line. Travel for 5 stops and get off at Tokyo Station. From Tokyo Station, follow the signs for Marunouchi South Exit. As you exit, walk towards KITTE building, which is a short 5-minute walk. The Tokyo City i is located in the basement level (B1F).

  • Bus

    If you prefer to travel by bus, go to the Hitachi Bus Terminal and take the express bus to Tokyo. The journey will take around 2 hours, depending on traffic. Once you arrive at Tokyo Station, walk towards Marunouchi South Exit. From there, head towards the KITTE building, which is approximately a 5-minute walk. You can find Tokyo City i on the B1F level.
