If you are driving from central Hitachi, head south on Route 6 towards Mito. Merge onto the Joban Expressway (E6) and continue for approximately 50 kilometers. Take the exit for Tsukuba Express and follow signs for Tokyo. Once you reach the city, follow signs for Bunkyo City. To reach Tokyo Dome City by train from Hitachi, start at Hitachi Station. Take the Joban Line train towards Ueno Station. After about 50 minutes, transfer at Ueno Station to the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line. Board the train heading towards Naka-Meguro and get off at Kasuga Station. From Kasuga Station, take Exit 1 and walk approximately 15 minutes following signs to Tokyo Dome City. Look for the large dome structure as you approach.
