Car

If you are driving, head southwest on Route 6 (also known as the Joban Expressway) towards Tokyo. After approximately 100 km, take the exit toward Ueno from Route 4. Follow the signs for Ueno Park. Once you arrive at Ueno Park, look for parking options nearby. The Ueno Zoological Gardens are located at 9-83 Uenokoen, just a short walk from the park entrance.
Train

From Hitachi Station, take the JR Joban Line bound for Ueno. The journey takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Ueno Station, exit the station and follow the signs to Ueno Park. The Ueno Zoological Gardens are located at 9-83 Uenokoen, which is approximately a 10-minute walk from the station. Follow the path leading into Ueno Park, and you will see the zoo entrance.
Bus
