    Start by heading east on Route 6 from the center of Hitachi. Continue on Route 6 for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Route 294. Take the exit towards Route 294 and continue for about 5 kilometers. You will see signs for Toride. Follow the signs to Toride City, and once in the city, look for 'Higashi' area. Yasaka Shrine is located at 1 Chome-2-9 Higashi, Toride, Ibaraki. There is parking available near the shrine.

    Public Transportation

    From Hitachi Station, take the JR Joban Line train towards Ueno. Get off at Toride Station, which is about a 30-minute ride. Once you arrive at Toride Station, exit the station and find the bus stop for the local bus service. Take the bus heading towards Higashi area; the bus ride will take about 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Higashi 1 Chome' stop. From there, it's just a short 5-minute walk to Yasaka Shrine, located at 1 Chome-2-9 Higashi.
