Public Transportation
If you are in Hitachi, start by heading to Hitachi Station (ひたち駅). From there, take the JR Joban Line towards Ueno Station. The train ride will take approximately 2 hours. Upon arriving at Ueno Station, transfer to the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line and take the train towards Asakusa Station. This leg of the journey will take about 10 minutes. Once you arrive at Asakusa Station, exit through the A1 or A2 exit, and you will find yourself on Asakusa Street. The Five-Storied Pagoda is a short walk from the station, located at 2 Chome-3-1 Asakusa.

If you are driving from Hitachi, get onto Route 6 (国道6号) heading south. Continue on Route 6 for approximately 40 kilometers until you reach the junction with the Tokyo Bay Aqua-Line. Merge onto the expressway and continue towards Tokyo. Follow signs for Asakusa, and then take the exit towards Asakusa. After exiting, follow the local roads to reach Asakusa Street. Parking is available near the pagoda, but it may be limited during peak times. The Five-Storied Pagoda will be located at 2 Chome-3-1 Asakusa.
