If you are driving from the center of Tosa, head northeast on Route 56 towards Kochi City. After approximately 25 kilometers, merge onto Route 32 towards Kōchi and continue for about 90 kilometers. Then, take the exit toward Taito City. Follow signs to Asakusa and Dembōin, which is located at 2 Chome-3 Asakusa, Taito City, Tokyo 111-0032. There is limited parking available near the temple, so be prepared to search for a spot.
Public Transportation (Train)
From Tosa, take the train to Kochi Station. Transfer to the JR Shikoku Line and travel towards Takamatsu. At Takamatsu Station, switch to the JR Yosan Line and head towards Okayama. Get off at Ueno Station, and then take the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line towards Asakusa Station. Once you arrive at Asakusa Station, take the A4 exit and walk approximately 5 minutes to Dembōin, located at 2 Chome-3 Asakusa, Taito City, Tokyo 111-0032. The entire journey may take around 4-5 hours, depending on transfer times.
Public Transportation (Bus)
From Tosa, you can take a highway bus to Tokyo. Purchase a ticket at the Tosa bus terminal and board the bus that heads to Tokyo Station. The bus ride will take approximately 8-10 hours. Once you arrive at Tokyo Station, take the JR Yamanote Line to Ueno Station. From there, switch to the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line and take it to Asakusa Station. Upon arriving at Asakusa Station, exit at A4, and walk about 5 minutes to reach Dembōin at 2 Chome-3 Asakusa, Taito City, Tokyo 111-0032.
