Car
If you are traveling by car, start by heading to the nearest major city, such as Asahikawa. From Asahikawa, take Route 39 south towards Shimizu. Continue on Route 39 until you reach Shimizu, Kamikawa District. Look for signs for Nissho Pass Observation Deck (日勝峠展望台) as you approach. The observation deck is located at approximately latitude 42.9696, longitude 142.7985. There is parking available at the observation deck. Note that there are no tolls on Route 39.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, take a train from Sapporo to Asahikawa. Once in Asahikawa, transfer to a local bus heading towards Shimizu. The bus may not run frequently, so check the schedule in advance. After arriving in Shimizu, you will need a taxi to reach Nissho Pass Observation Deck, as it is about 10 km away from the Shimizu bus terminal. The taxi fare to the observation deck is approximately 2,500 to 3,000 yen. Ensure that you check the bus and train schedules to plan your route effectively.
