Public Transport
From Hakata Station, take bus number 88 from bus stop 'F' in front of the Hakata Station Center Building and get off at Hakata Port International Terminal. The ride takes approximately 20 minutes. Alternatively, from Tenjin Station, take bus number 80 from bus stop '2A' in front of Tenjin Solaria Stage and get off at Hakata Port International Terminal. This takes about 15 minutes. A one-day bus pass can be purchased at the information counter. The cost for a single bus ride is around ¥230.

Taxis are readily available from Hakata Station or Tenjin. The taxi ride to Hakata Ferry Terminal takes approximately 15 minutes from either location, depending on traffic conditions. The estimated fare is between ¥1,500 and ¥2,000.
Walking
From Nakasu-Kawabata Station, it's about a 20-minute walk to Hakata Ferry Terminal. Take the subway to Nakasu-Kawabata Station (K09/H01) and exit from exit number 7. Follow the signs towards Hakata Port. No costs are involved.
