From Ishigaki Airport or the Bus Terminal in Ishigaki City, take the Azuma Bus Route No. 6 towards Hirakubo. The bus ride from the Bus Terminal takes approximately 70 minutes, and from the airport, it's about 40 minutes. Disembark at the 'Kura' bus stop, which is a short 2-minute walk to Sunset Beach. Be mindful that there are only three buses a day, so check the timetable in advance. A one-way fare from the Bus Terminal is ¥1,300, while from the Airport it costs ¥870. Consider purchasing a one-day bus pass for ¥1,000 if you plan to use the bus for further exploration.

Taxis are available from Ishigaki Airport or Ishigaki City. A taxi ride from the airport to Sunset Beach takes approximately 40 minutes and costs around ¥5,700. From the Bus Terminal, the journey is about 70 minutes and costs approximately ¥7,900. Note that there is no taxi stand at Sunset Beach, and calling a taxi may result in a 40-minute wait. Consider using a taxi app like "DiDi" to book a ride.

If driving from Ishigaki Airport, head north on Route 206 towards Hirakubo. The drive takes approximately 40 minutes. From Ishigaki City, follow Route 390 east and then connect to Route 206 north. Parking is available near the beach, with both free and paid options. Some spaces are located on nearby streets, while others are within structured lots. Parking fees and availability may vary, so arriving early is recommended. There is a parking fee of ¥500.
