Getting There

    If you're driving from the center of Iyo, head southeast on Route 33 towards Matsuyama. Continue for about 30 km until you reach the junction for Route 192. Take Route 192 towards Miyoshi. After approximately 15 km, you will see signs for the Higashi-Iya Museum of Local History and Folklore. Turn left onto Higashiiyakyojo street, and the museum will be on your right at 14-3 Higashiiyakyojo. Parking is available onsite.

    Start at Iyo's main train station, Iyo-Sekisho Station, and take the JR Yosan Line to Matsuyama Station. From Matsuyama Station, transfer to the JR Tokushima Line and head towards Tokushima. Get off at Miyoshi Station. From Miyoshi Station, take the local bus towards 'Higashi-Iya' (check the local bus schedule for times). The bus will take you directly to the Higashi-Iya Museum of Local History and Folklore stop, which is a short walk to the museum entrance.
