Car
If you're driving, start by navigating to the city of Miyoshi in Tokushima Prefecture. From Tokushima city, take the Tokushima Expressway (Tokushima Road) towards Miyoshi. Once you're near Miyoshi, exit at the Miyoshi Interchange and follow the signs for Route 32. Continue on Route 32 for approximately 15 km until you reach Ōboke Gorge. Parking is available near the gorge, but be mindful of any parking fees that may apply.
Train and Bus
If you prefer public transportation, take a train to Miyoshi Station from major cities in Shikoku. From Takamatsu or Tokushima, you can take the Kotoden train or the JR Tokushima Line. Once you arrive at Miyoshi Station, you will need to catch a local bus to Ōboke Gorge. Look for the bus heading to 'Ōboke' or 'Iya Valley' as they typically stop at the gorge. The bus ride takes about 30-40 minutes, and tickets can be purchased at the station or on the bus. Be sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time, as services may be limited.
