Start your journey in Iyo by heading south on Route 11 towards Matsuyama. Continue on this route for about 30 kilometers until you reach the city of Uwajima. From Uwajima, follow signs for Route 56 heading towards the town of Kushimoto. Once you reach Kushimoto, look for the ferry terminal, where you can take a ferry to Kii Ōshima. Make sure to check the ferry schedule in advance as it may vary. The ferry ride takes approximately 30 minutes and costs around 1,000 yen per person.

From any location in Iyo, take a local bus or train to Matsuyama City. Once at Matsuyama Station, board an express train on the Yosan Line heading towards Uwajima. The train ride will take approximately 50 minutes. Upon arriving at Uwajima Station, transfer to a local bus towards Kushimoto. The bus ride will take about 40 minutes. Once you arrive in Kushimoto, walk to the ferry terminal to catch a ferry to Kii Ōshima. The ferry takes about 30 minutes and costs around 1,000 yen per person. Make sure to check the ferry schedule beforehand.
