Banjō Falls, cascading down 20 meters with a width of 5 meters, is a picturesque waterfall nestled in the heart of Izu City, Shizuoka Prefecture. Located on the upper reaches of the Jizodo River, a tributary of the Kano River, Banjō Falls, also known as Banjo-no-taki, offers an immersive experience with nature. Visitors can descend close to the basin of the falls, feeling the refreshing spray and hearing the powerful roar of the water. A pavilion near the waterfall provides a resting spot to soak in the scenery. Downstream, the 'Thousand Year Tree,' an old zelkova, stands near a picnic area and a water area ideal for playing.
