Car
If you are driving from Izumo city center, head south on Route 9. Continue on Route 9 for approximately 15 kilometers. You will see signs for Cape Hino (Hinomisaki) as you approach Taishacho. Turn onto Route 431 and follow the signs to Cape Hino. The scenic drive takes you through beautiful coastal views. Parking is available near the cape.
Public Transportation
To reach Cape Hino via public transportation, start by taking a train from Izumo Station to Taisha Station (approximately 10 minutes, costing around 200 yen). From Taisha Station, take a local bus heading towards Hinomisaki. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes and costs approximately 500 yen. Disembark at the Hinomisaki stop, which is a short walk from Cape Hino.
Walking
If you're already in Taishacho, you can walk to Cape Hino from the town center. It is about a 30-minute walk (2.5 km) from Taishacho Hinomisaki. Follow the signs along Route 431, which will lead you directly to the cape. This is a great option if you want to enjoy the local scenery along the way.
