Car
If you are driving, start from the center of Izumo city. Head northeast on Route 9 (National Route 9) towards Matsue. After about 5 km, take the exit for Taisha (Izumo Taisha) and follow the signs leading you to the shrine. Continue on Taishacho road for approximately 2 km until you reach Izumo Taisha, which will be on your left. There is parking available nearby.

To get to Izumo Taisha using public transportation, start at Izumo Station. Take the Izumo City Bus (Line 1) towards Taisha. The bus ride takes about 20 minutes.
