Car
If you're driving, head onto Route 9 from central Izumo. Follow Route 9 for approximately 30 km towards Matsue. Upon reaching Matsue, take the exit for Route 54 towards Yakumo. Continue on Route 54 for about 10 km, then turn right onto the local road that leads to Kumano Grand Shrine. The shrine will be on your left. Parking is available near the shrine, and there are no fees.

Public Transportation (Train and Bus)
Start by taking the JR San-in Line from Izumo-shi Station to Matsue Station, which takes about 30 minutes. From Matsue Station, exit and head to the bus terminal adjacent to the station. Board the Yakumo Town Community Bus (Yakumo-cho Community Bus) which goes to Kumano Grand Shrine. The bus ride will take approximately 40 minutes, and the fare is around 600 yen. The shrine is a short walk from the bus stop.
