If you're driving from the center of Izumo, take Route 9 heading northeast for about 15 km. After approximately 10 minutes, you will reach the intersection at 'Izumo Cultural Center'. Turn right onto Route 431, and continue for about 5 km. Look for signs indicating 'Nanara Waterfall' as you approach the area. After another 3 km, you will see a parking area on your left. The waterfall is a short walk from there.

From Izumo Station, take the Ichibata Electric Railway to 'Koryo Station'. The train ride takes about 30 minutes and costs around 600 yen. Upon arrival at Koryo Station, you can take a local taxi to the Nanara Waterfall. The taxi ride will take about 15 minutes and will cost approximately 1,500 yen. Make sure to confirm the taxi driver knows the destination.
