Car
If you are driving from the center of Izumo, head north on Route 9. Turn right onto Route 431 toward Taishacho. Continue on Route 431 for about 15 kilometers. As you approach Taishacho Kizukikita, keep an eye out for signs indicating Screen Rock (屏風岩). There is parking available nearby. Note that parking may incur a small fee, typically around 500 yen.
Public Transportation
To reach Screen Rock using public transportation, start at Izumo Station. Take the Ichibata Electric Railway to Taisha Station. The train ride takes approximately 25 minutes. From Taisha Station, take a local bus (the Joto Bus) heading towards Taishacho. Disembark at the 'Kizukikita' bus stop, which is a short walk from Screen Rock. Be sure to check the bus schedule as service may be limited, especially on weekends. The bus fare is usually around 500 yen.
