If you are driving from central Kai, head northeast on Route 20 (Chuo Highway). Continue for approximately 30 kilometers. Take the exit towards Musashino and follow signs for Inokashira Park Zoo. The address is 1 Chome-17-6 Gotenyama, Musashino, Tokyo 180-0005. There is parking available near the zoo, but note that it may incur a fee of around 500 yen per hour.

Public Transportation
From Kai Station, take the JR Chuo Line towards Tokyo. You will need to change trains at Takao Station to the JR Chuo Line Rapid Service. Alight at Musashino Station. From Musashino Station, take Bus No. 5 towards Kichijoji Station and get off at Inokashira Park Zoo. The entire journey will take around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on transfer times. Be prepared to pay for the bus ride, which costs about 210 yen.
