Car
If you are driving from central Kai, head northwest on Route 20. Follow this road for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Route 16. Turn right onto Route 16 and continue for about 5 kilometers. Look for signs indicating Kawagoe and Renjakucho. As you approach Kawagoe, follow the signs to Renjakucho and the Kawagoe Kumano Shrine. There is parking available near the shrine, but be aware that it may charge a small fee, usually around 500 yen.

Public Transportation (Train)
To reach Kawagoe Kumano Shrine using public transportation, start by taking the Fujikyu Railway from Kai to Otsuki Station. From Otsuki Station, transfer to the JR Chuo Line towards Tokyo and get off at Takao Station. At Takao Station, transfer to the JR Yokohama Line and ride to Hachioji Station. Finally, switch to the JR Saikyo Line towards Kawagoe and get off at Kawagoe Station. From Kawagoe Station, you can take a local bus or taxi. The bus will take approximately 15 minutes and costs about 230 yen. A taxi may cost around 1,000 yen.

Public Transportation (Bus)
If you prefer to travel by bus, you can take a direct bus from Kai City to Kawagoe Station. The bus departs from the main bus terminal in Kai. The journey takes about 40 minutes and costs approximately 700 yen. Once you arrive at Kawagoe Station, you can take a taxi or local bus to reach Kawagoe Kumano Shrine. The taxi will take about 10 minutes and cost around 1,000 yen, while the bus will take about 15 minutes and cost 230 yen.
