Car
If you are driving from central Kai, head south on Route 20. Continue for about 5 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 143. Take Route 143 toward Beppu. After approximately 20 kilometers, you will see signs directing you to Kitahama Park. Turn right onto Kitahama Street, and the park will be on your left. There is parking available nearby, but please note that parking may incur a fee of approximately 500 yen for a few hours.

To reach Kitahama Park via public transportation, start by taking the local bus from the nearest bus stop in Kai to Beppu. Look for the bus that goes towards Beppu Station. The journey should take about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Beppu Station, exit the station and take bus number 5 or 7, which will take you directly to Kitahama Park. The bus ride from Beppu Station to the park will take approximately 15 minutes. Be sure to have around 600 yen for the bus fare. The bus stops close to the park entrance.
