Car
If you're driving from Kai, start by getting onto Route 20 (Kōfu Bypass) heading towards Nagoya. Follow signs for the Chuo Expressway (Central Expressway) and merge onto it. Continue on the Chuo Expressway for about 70 kilometers. Take exit 18 towards Nagoya and merge onto Route 1. Follow the signs for Minato Ward and then look for signs pointing to LEGOLAND Japan. The park is located at 1 Kinjoufutou, 2 Chome-2, Minato Ward, Nagoya, Aichi 455-8605. Parking is available at the venue, and it may incur a fee, typically around 1,500 yen for a day.
Public Transportation (Train)
To reach LEGOLAND Japan via public transport, start by taking the Fujikyu Railway from Kai Station to Otsuki Station. From Otsuki Station, transfer to the JR Chuo Line towards Nagoya. At Nagoya Station, switch to the Meitetsu Nagoya Line and take a train to Kinjoufuto Station. From Kinjoufuto Station, it's a short walk to LEGOLAND Japan, which is located at 1 Kinjoufutou, 2 Chome-2, Minato Ward, Nagoya, Aichi 455-8605. The total travel time is approximately 2.5 hours, and the train fare will be around 2,500 yen.
Public Transportation (Bus)
From Kai, take the local bus to Kofu Station. From Kofu Station, you can take an express bus directly to LEGOLAND Japan. The bus ride takes about 2 hours. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance as it may vary. After arriving at the LEGOLAND Japan bus stop, you will find the entrance just a short walk away.
