Getting There

  • Car

    From the center of Kai, head east on Route 20. Continue straight for about 10 kilometers until you reach the interchange for the Chuo Expressway. Merge onto the Chuo Expressway towards Tokyo. After approximately 90 kilometers, take the exit for Shinjuku. Follow the signs for Shinjuku City. Once you approach Shinjuku, look for signs directing you to Meiji Jingu Gaien, which will be located at 1-1 Kasumigaokamachi, just off the main road. Parking is available nearby.

    Start at the nearest train station in Kai, which is likely the JR Koumi Line station. Take a train towards Kobuchizawa and transfer to the JR Chuo Line at Kobuchizawa station. Board a train heading towards Tokyo and get off at Shinjuku Station. Once at Shinjuku Station, exit the station and head towards the South Exit. From there, you can walk approximately 10 minutes towards Meiji Jingu Gaien, located at 1-1 Kasumigaokamachi. Follow the signs to the park, and you will find its entrance easily.
