    If you are driving, start by heading southeast on Route 20 (Chuo Highway) from Kai. Continue on Route 20 for approximately 50 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Route 1. Merge onto Route 1 towards Tokyo. After about 20 kilometers, keep left at the fork to stay on Route 1, following signs for Ueno/Taito. Continue for another 5 kilometers and take the exit toward Shitaya. Once you exit, turn left onto Shitaya Street, and after about 500 meters, you will find Ono Terusaki Shrine on your right at 2 Chome-13-14 Shitaya, Taito City.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Ono Terusaki Shrine by public transportation, start by taking the local train from Kai Station. Board the JR Chuo Line towards Tokyo. After approximately 1 hour, transfer at Shinjuku Station to the JR Yamanote Line. Ride the Yamanote Line for 4 stops and get off at Ueno Station. From Ueno Station, exit the station and take the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line towards Asakusa. After 2 stops, get off at Inaricho Station. From Inaricho Station, exit the station and walk east along Route 1 for about 800 meters, then turn right onto Shitaya Street. The shrine will be on your left at 2 Chome-13-14 Shitaya, Taito City.
