Car
If you are traveling by car from central Kai, take Route 20 towards Itoshima. Follow the signs for Itoshima and continue for approximately 30 kilometers. Once you reach Itoshima, look for the signs to Raizansennyoji Taihioin. The temple is located at 626 Raizan, and you can use a GPS navigation system with the address provided for precise directions. There is parking available at the temple, which is free of charge.
Public Transportation
To reach Raizansennyoji Taihioin by public transportation, start at the nearest train station in Kai. Take a train to Fukuoka City, then transfer to the Nishitetsu train line heading towards Itoshima. Get off at the Itoshima Station. From there, you can catch a local bus (Nishitetsu bus) heading towards Raizan. The bus ride will take about 20-30 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may vary. The temple is a short walk from the bus stop. Total cost for the train and bus is approximately 1,500 yen.
