Car
If you're driving from the center of Kai, head east on Route 20 towards Kofu. Continue on Route 20 for about 15 km until you reach the junction with Route 140. Take the exit for Route 140 towards Tokyo. Follow Route 140, which will eventually turn into Route 246. Continue on Route 246 towards Setagaya City. Once you approach Setagaya, look for signs directing you to Minamikarasuyama. Turn onto 1 Chome and you’ll find the Setagaya Literary Museum at 1 Chome-10-10 Minamikarasuyama. There should be parking available nearby.

Public Transportation
To reach the Setagaya Literary Museum via public transport, start by making your way to the nearest train station in Kai. Take the JR Chuo Line towards Tokyo and change at Shinjuku Station. From Shinjuku, transfer to the Odakyu Odawara Line and take the train towards Odawara. Get off at the Sangenjaya Station. From Sangenjaya, exit the station and head south on Carasuyama-dori Avenue. Continue walking straight for about 1 km until you reach Minamikarasuyama. The museum is located at 1 Chome-10-10 Minamikarasuyama, which is about a 10-minute walk from the station.
